These terms govern your use of the appvik.com website and any engagement with Appvik Technologies (“Appvik”, “we”, “us”). By using this site or working with us, you agree to these terms.

1. Services

Appvik provides software design, development, and AI engineering services. The specific scope, timeline, and price of any project are defined in a separate written proposal or statement of work agreed between you and Appvik. These terms apply alongside that agreement, which takes precedence where the two conflict.

2. Proposals and quotes

Any estimates, plans, or prices shared before a signed agreement are indicative and may change as scope is clarified. A project begins only once both parties confirm scope and pricing in writing.

3. Intellectual property

On full payment for a project, ownership of the custom code and deliverables we create for you transfers to you, as set out in your project agreement. We retain the right to reuse general knowledge, methods, and non-client-specific components. Third-party and open-source components remain under their respective licenses.

4. Payment

Fees, milestones, and payment schedules are defined in your project agreement. Invoices are payable by the due date stated on each invoice. Late payment may pause active work until the balance is settled.

5. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential information shared during an engagement private and to use it only for the purpose of the project. This obligation continues after the engagement ends.

6. Warranties and liability

We deliver work with reasonable skill and care. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Appvik is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the relevant project. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Data protection

We handle personal data in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law, including GDPR where relevant.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the latest revision shown above.
